Taksim restaurant

Artfully blending Turkish influences, the interiors of Taksim restaurant establish a captivating dialogue that echoes the architectural elements of the original ottoman tradition and celebrate the everlasting allure of their geometrical motifs. The restaurant emanates a captivating ambiance with its warm blue hues, elegantly coated in copper accents, evoking nuanced tones that gracefully infuse the entire space. A custom gallery wall adorned with traditional ovens becomes a focal point, where an intriguing exchange of elements take shape.

The style was a mixture of native Turkish tradition and influences inspired by a diversity of vintage influences of Turkish culture. Classic and contemporary elements are combined with the interior design to shape the main material palette. Nostalgia plays a role in the restaurant’s finishes, which are a blend of patterned mosaics of Traditional Turkish motifs, ceramic flooring and custom-designed natural wood backrests. While patterned metal dividers harmonize with the traditional feel of the concept, the modern lighting contrasts it with a more contemporary feel.

The traditional character of the space was maintained and emphasized with a touch of iconic color tones. A warm, bright, navy blue and brown hues are chosen for the main design elements, echoing symbolic colors for the requested mood, to bring into the space an authentic atmosphere while making the dining experience warm and inviting.
