A dessert store with endless opportunities to play with colors and materials. Bold on a small scale, thus satisfying customers’ appetite for visual stimulation. Sometimes, being bold is the only way of creating a memorable interior. This project is a well-thought and creative ice-cream shop where design can become a source of joy by offering customers both delicious sweet treats and a space that makes them happy.
Diana Nitreanu promotes through her aesthetics that details matter. This is a bold and colorful ice-cream shop design that creates an emotional connection with customers, increasing brand recognition. The colorful place has a mix of Retro charms that meet the elegance of Art Deco, both creating an adorable decor. The interior style was sustained by pastel hues that ensured the perfect environment for bold patterns and contrasts. The floor inlaying was a popular design element that represented the style.
People don’t just go to an ice cream shop because they are hungry. The ice cream store can be defined as a happy place where the style, the details, the setup, the overall feeling make you want to stop and spend some quality time.
The project was based on the phenomenon of ice cream renaissance that is taking place around the world. Not only did the industry embrace the growing trend towards fresh, natural, and locally sourced ingredients, but more and more gelaterias decided to take dessert to a whole new level with their innovative techniques, creatively healthy options, and magazine-worthy interiors.
