White on white on white. The architect introduced creamy hues to bring a piece of calm for this boutique stay in Palma de Mallorca. The overall look and feel are backed by neutral palette infused with subtle tones of black accents. Intentionally simple and serene.
Pushing open the doors of this magnificent 90m2 walk-through duplex apartment, discovering a refined entrance, characterized by herringbone floors that bring a continuous look. Flowing forms guide your steps into the living room, a warm and inviting space with elegant and comfortable furniture with Art Deco touches.
First with the sumptuous open kitchen in white MDF and Calacatta Iceberg marble, equally seductive with its decorative pieces, like an invitation to slow down and fully experience the island’s art of living. The two bedrooms, with their adjoining bathrooms, have been designed as cocoons. Soft and warm, they provide calm and intimacy, away from the living room, dinners and conversations.
When setting out to design a kitchen it’s very important to incorporate the client’s routines. The architect made sure to keep efficiency on top of mind just as much as beauty. The cabinetry in a kitchen can set the entire tone for the space. Diana Nitreanu finds that cabinetry color selection always reflects the clients overall aesthetic and design personality within the rest of the home. For clients who love to cook, the architect always tries to find ways to display things that are typically hidden, so the kitchen experience stays interactive and becomes elevated.
The bathroom experience is a very important topic for the architect. This spaces are dedicated to your everyday routine. A sacred pause. A moment of respite. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail and with an eclectic Mediterranean vibe, the bathrooms display a mix of reclaimed wood, marble and ceramics all together creating a bold outcome. The chess plinth is the star, catching all the attention. Strong tile mix and subtle pops of different elements create an impressive stylish look that stands out and fills the visitors with comfort.
The night areas display a moody color scheme paired with natural elements and fully equipped dressing rooms. A sanctuary dedicated to the art of rest. The space where you begin and end each day.
Vacation mood on.
