This eclectic style project was the perfect blank canvas for its design. Starting with the entryway – the space that sets the tone and the vibe for the entire home, every detail, every corner, every angle is an opportunity to guide the eye. Please, be welcomed. Design leads the way.
Part of the architect’s design philosophy – form, materiality and contrast, all together cooperating for a balanced aesthetics, where shades of blue were the main touches as the client’s desired. The residence is displayed with an open layout backed by a self-confident design with a mix of different materials, textures and shapes. The game of marble mosaics, ceramics, mdf, velvet, 3D textures, natural wood, play together in harmony while supporting each other.
The project’s main focus is the continuity detail, endorsed by smooth transitions in between areas or materials, flowing shapes and elimination of any visible obstacles that might undermine the rooted harmony. These details were described by mirrored walls with hidden entries, Filomuro doors adorned with led plinth highlighting a floating effect, cohesion of materials from one space to the other.
