Drawing inspiration from the Wabi Sabi and Mexican modernist styles, the creative client in love with Tulum vibes desired a place where she could recollect those moments. Partnered up with the interior decorator Catalin de la Berlin, the design aesthetics was informed from different points of views.
With Mexican modernism and warm, earthy Mediterranean influences at its heart, the inviting signature of Bistropolitan restaurant & bar embodies a tapestry of richly varied and timeless elements.
Vintage hand-carved objects, handcrafted rugs, custom wall decorations, rich rusty columns and the strong sculptural detailing of the original architecture form a mélange of fresh eclecticism with fantastical hand-fashioned custom designs all created by local Romanian artisans.
