A minimalist condominium project with a design that exudes tranquility through clean lines, neutral colors and uncluttered spaces for a peaceful living environment. The architect created a peaceful atmosphere that alleviates stress while creating a personal sanctuary that positively impacts the mental well-being of the private community that will leave there.
The architecture philosophy is in neutral color palette, incorporating a variety of textures that add depth and visual interest to the space. The subtle surface variations create a layered and tactile experience that makes the volumes more dynamic without compromising the minimalist aesthetic.
The outdoor plants make the architecture look alive and cozy. The greenery injects a pop of color into the monochromatic appearance and improves air quality that benefits health. The private outdoor spaces of each unit, were created with wooden floors that add texture and a grounding effect to each home. They also bring nature closer to each inhabitant, especially since condos can feel very urban.
The facades were conceived so that natural light creates a bright, airy atmosphere, blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. It also gives the space a sense of openness, which is great for smaller homes. Large windows and open floor plans ease the path for natural light to penetrate the space.
The units functionality feel spacious and open. The architect avoided overcrowding the spaces with too much furniture or other décor and provided hidden storage to empty the areas for easy movement around. The furniture was strategically placed to maximize open space and have clear pathways within the condos. Large furniture pieces were placed against walls or on corners, freeing up the center of the room for a clear and unobstructed flow. Another effective technique that the architect used, was to incorporate multi-functional furniture pieces that serve several purposes. These versatile items not only maximize functionality but also save room.
