Designed by Diana Nitreanu, this private residence for a young family, is offering a fresh perspective on how to build and experience spaces. This approach prioritizes simplicity and purpose, creating a home that is free of excess, but rich in meaning, The proposed architecture was intended to show luxury by focusing on clean lines, open spaces and the careful use of materials to elevate the living experience.
The concept embraces minimalist architecture that makes efficient the use of space. It’s not about having large rooms, but rather about maximizing the sense of openness. Diana Nitreanu used thoughtful planning to create layouts that flow naturally, without unnecessary walls or partitions. This method makes the villa feel larger but also allows for a more flexible and adaptable living space.
The architect used the open-concept layout where living, dining, and kitchen areas are merged into one cohesive space. This eliminated the need for separate rooms, making the entire villa feel more unified. The open layouts also allow light to flow throughout the home, creating a bright, welcoming atmosphere.
The architecture is built on the principle that less is more, that translates into clean, unobstructed lines and a lack of decorative elements. The focus is on the structure and form of the building itself. This creates a fresh, elegant look that feels modern without being cold or impersonal. The wooden roof is the main attraction, as it is decorated with custom made spikes that help the water flow easily, while punctuating an intriguing architecture detail that upgrades the entire aesthetical composition.
The architect paid a lot of attention to the night mode, so the residence’s facades are highlighted through a game of led indirect lights that punctuate different details that were intended to be underlined.
