Total facade restoration. FACELIFT-ing. The equivalent of aesthetic surgery, but in architecture. Making the best from an unfortunate existing architecture that was lacking of aesthetic harmony or balance. The upgrades helped to transform the outdated facades into more visually appealing designs. Bringing clean lines, textures and classical decorative elements that create an elegant look and feel.
This facade restauration is a bright makeover that plays with perspectives and tricks the eye into thinking that the height proportion is not so aggressive. The project aim was to extend the life expectation of an old existing building.
Facade design is the art of creating an aesthetic building envelope translating the expressive vision of the architect and the client towards the space.
