“This is me finally becoming comfortable in my own skin. Setting rhythms and goals. Every aspect of my work has its own cadence. Time and experience gave me the ability to recognize when the cadence is on or off and to envision what my next chapter will be.
Each symbol of my work is a tool of self-discovery & self-expression and the result is a highly personal identity, charged with an energy and style that’s meant to empower & inspire to be embraced and shared.”
Design bible. I offer people a different vision with the help of design. Constantly influenced by beauty and balance, I am affected by shape, geometry, evolution, revolution, people, philosophy, hedonism, art, food, history, art, sun, light and a lot of great humor that guides me every day. What matters the most to me is giving people a different experience shaped by discipline while having fun and creating new things that have the potential to educate and catch the viewer’s eye. I combine rigorous design with construction management experience – a rare combination that leads to a distinctive design process with a final product that is aesthetically and intellectually rigorous as well as financially informed. My design values are contemporary: efficiency, logic, beauty, honest expression of materials, clean lines and forms that allow the architecture itself – the space, light, materials, spatial relationships – and inhabitants to flourish. The result is an architecture that is current but timeless, serene yet warm, and universally rational while also being uniquely reflective of the values and personality of my clients. I do. I am. I architect.
Arch. Diana Nitreanu, Creative Director & Founder
Diana Nitreanu is making a mark in the architecture&interior spheres, a complete professional in her field, with her reference line of designs, ranging from furniture and homeware bloomed with her natural stone brand Segunda Piel. Everything is sustained by her quantum physics practice. She was born creative and sneaked in every corner of the world to feed her talent.
Diana comes from a family of engineers and doctors, but not one you would normally assume. Every member of her family had their highly creative pleasure, singing, painting, dancing and not to mention more. As a highly contoured Romanian architect today, Diana paints, sings, dances, creates furniture and decor, and gave birth to Segunda Piel, a long lasting testament left in her soul by some universal ancestors.
Sharpen by exact senses she developed with woody oriental fragrances, Diana would be led by high humanity values in her creation of architecture. This is her true center and from here she had risen all her passions as a productive tool. Curious and expansive, Diana felt the need to express all her creativity, so not everyone was able to handle her. Discipline in her creative chaos made her what she is today, a successful business woman, able to express herself by need and desire, considered a value by society.
With 7 years of architecture study in Spain and Romania, along with expanding herself in martial arts, yoga, painting, tattoos and hidden symbols, Diana started inking her own visuals on her skin. She benefited from the top 5th Universities of Advanced Architecture in the world in Barcelona (IaaC) and there her connections to the world became vivid.
Diana is a leader, but not one that will ever be a benchmark. Her authenticity is so hard to reproduce, that you will be inspired to make your own business instead of a replica. Her story fed many with her energy and always smiling child face, having in the back a correct and mature entrepreneurial life. Smell her footprints, she will always be ahead with your desires and the degree of familiarity that she gives you, turns into falling in love.
Diana hopes that her beautiful spaces and objects instigate reflective growth, courage to experiment and change in individuals, acting as a small reminder that everyone is the designer of his own life and she in the position to inspire and aesthetically guide every client by transforming his own story from dream into physical reality. Constantly searching for unique touchpoints for her imagination, Diana turns shapes from daily life into what she defines as her unique art — objects and spaces translated into textures followed by experiences and energy guidance that informs the lines of her creations.
